This 3 bedroom, 2 bath house is so cozy and perfect for families you would not want to leave except it is also about 75 yards from the McKenzie River! With a fantastic view of the river and pond from the spacious covered deck, the osprey, herons, egrets, ducks, geese, and beavers can be seen daily.
During the winter and spring months, the Berry Patch Vacation Rental is the perfect artist's retreat - complete a series of paintings on the private deck overlooking the McKenzie River or on those periods of dry weather - setting up the easel on the river bank or backyard of the main house. Or cozy up and storm watch, enjoying the quiet solitude of the nights.
For the more adventurous; try HooDoo Skiing, snowshoeing, or the hot springs (primative and developed.) Bring your books or hunker down for table game marathons. For authors; finish that novel in the quietness of a rainy forest. Although the river is too high for water sports at this time of year, to see the raging river in the winter is quite an exciting experience.
During the summer month, the Berry Patch Vacation Rental offers easy river access for fishing, kayaking, rafting, and swimming. Fishing is excellent from the beach and rocks below the house. The house is at the end of a private lane nestled within 5 acres of blueberry bushes. Blueberries ripen in July and are available through August.
The living room has an incredible view of the river. The master bedroom has a king size bed, beautiful furniture and view of the river. The second bedroom upstairs has two twin beds. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, and private bathroom. The kitchen includes large refrigerator and freezer, electric stove and oven, dishwasher, and all you need to cook gourmet meals.
Only half an hour from Eugene/Springfield and 65 miles West of Hoodoo ski area, The Berry Patch is ideally located for a winter or summer vacation. Tokatee Golf Course (nationally ranked) is about 25 miles from the house. Belknap Hot Springs is 30 minutes away, and endless miles of roads and wilderness to explore just outside your door.

Long Term Lease of six (6) or more months: 1200/month from September 15 on.
